Because the winner of Hawgsmoke 2016 did so for the second time in a row, the 2018 event (17 to 20 October) will be organised by a different unit: 303rd FS. 303rd FS is based at Whiteman AFB (MO), and the competition will be at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. This gives the opportunity to explore some airbases in states that are not regularly visited! 4Aviation intends to organise a tour to this event again, as we did in 2012, 2014 and 2016!
