Information
We plan to travel to the United Kingdom in September for the Cobra Warrior 24-2 exercise. The exact dates have not yet been officially announced, but we expect to spend a week in the UK in the second half of September.
Bases that are participating in the exercise for sure are RAF Coningsby, RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall and RAF Waddington and we will visit all of them. There are beautiful places or photos to take at all these airports and we drive a minibus from the Netherlands so you can also take a ladder with you.
Participants have not yet been officially announced, but we hear rumors about Canadian F-18s, German Tornadoes, Finnish F-18s, Polish F-16s, RAF Typhoons and USAFE F-16s and F-35s, so it will be fun again!
We did a similar tour in April 2024 (click to see the report of that tour), but there was no exercise going on at that time.
