Exercise Cobra Warrior 25-1

Information

We plan to travel to the United Kingdom in March for the Cobra Warrior 25/1 exercise which will be held 24 February-14 March 2025 at several bases in the UK. The main base for the exercise is RAF Waddington, but we will also visit RAF Coningsby, RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall which all have beautiful places for nice pictures.

We intend to go there from 2-8 March 2025 with a minibus from The Netherlands. From Calais we take the ferry to Dover. You can take a small stepladder with you and because of the small group we will have a lot of flexibility.

Itinerary

The itinerary that follows is to be considered as preliminary.

On Sunday 2 March we will drive to the UK and return to the Netherlands on Saturday 8 March 2025.

The plan at this moment is as follows:

  • Sunday 2 March 2025: drive from Utrecht (Netherlands) to the UK
  • Monday 3 March 2025: visit Lincoln area (RAF Coningsby, RAF Waddington)
  • Tuesday 4 March 2025: visit Lincoln area (RAF Coningsby, RAF Waddington)
  • Wednesday 5 March 2025: visit Lincoln area (RAF Coningsby, RAF Waddington)
  • Thursday 6 March 2025: visit Mildenhall area (RAF Lakenheath, RAF Marham, RAF Mildenhall)
  • Friday 7 March 2025: visit Mildenhall area (RAF Lakenheath, RAF Marham, RAF Mildenhall)
  • Saturday 8 March 2025: drive from the UK to Utrecht

Tour cost

Price for this tour is € 1299,- per person. This price includes:

  • Drive from The Netherlands to the UK
  • Drive from the UK to The Netherlands
  • Hotel accommodation (mid-range hotels, based on single rooms and private bathroom)
  • All transportation in the UK
  • € 9,- contribution to GGTO

Not included:

  • individual travel insurance
