Tour – Russia/Kubinka – ARMY 2017 – August 2017 – 4Aviation

Itinerary

The itinerary that follows is to be considered as preliminary.

On Wednesday 23 August we will fly to Moscow (probably making one stop on our way there) and return to the Netherlands on Tuesday 29 August 2017.

We will then head for ARMY on 4 days. On Thursday 24 August it will be a trade-day (accessible to all, but the entry fees will be a bit highter). Friday, Saturday and Sunday (25, 26 and 27 August) are public days.

During these days you can visit the 3 different locations (the Patriot Exhibition and Convention Centre terrain, the Alabino training ground and Kubinka air base).

On Monday 28 August we will return to Kubinka to capture the departure of (a large part of) the participants. For now we will do this from outside the fence (although we will try to arrange permission to access the terrain).

We have deliberately chosen a somewhat longer tour to give you the option to see and do a lot. ARMY consists of several items and it is very interesting to have a look at Alabino for instance (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrAf6euIcVA).

The museum in Monino is still open and certainly worth a visit. For those that are interested to visit this museum during the tour we can organise combined transportation. We can discuss arrangements and payment while we are in Moscow.

The city of Moscow is very beautiful and interesting. Planning a day to venture into the city is recommended as well. Our hotel is within the city, very close to a metro station.

If you want to go to Moscow longer or shorter that is possible too. We can offer a longer tour for € 60,- per person/per day. The flights are included in this option, but you have to arrange your own itinerary, transport etc. for the extra days. A shorter tour is possible from € 60,- per person/per day less.
