In the early morning of Wednesday 22 August 2018, a group of 24 travelers gathered at the now-known red / white cube at Schiphol for the third trip to Poland this year; this time on the occasion of the air show at Radom. The airshow was on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Polish Air Force. Previously, it was known that the fly show would be different from the fact that the MiG-29s and Su-22s had been grounded for 1.5 months because of a fatal crash with a MiG-29.
After the landing in Warsaw, another eight participants were welcomed and everybody was accommodated in three buses, after which they were heading to the south of Warsaw, Radom. A group chose to spend the afternoon at Radom and another part of the group drove to Krakow for the impressive museum there. We arrived late in the afternoon but luckily just in time to photograph the airplane and helicopters present with some effort. The group at Radom could still photograph a number of arriving aircraft in the afternoon. The night was spent in our super hotel just south of Radom
